First off: this is quite possibly the best BB product I’ve ever used, and definitely the most innovative! The BB Cushion Hydra Radiance is a foundation-forward approach to BB cream, using Mela-crusher brightening technology that evens skin tone and gives you the flawless complexion of your dreams! It is double-coated pigment infused, with moisturizing properties and micro pearls (hence the magical, unicorn-esque aesthetic), that ensure long-lasting results and hydrated skin.
My initial reaction when opening this box was, "omg, this packaging." I am so in love! Obviously the packaging has nothing to do with the quality of the product itself, but I mean, what sort of satan doesn't love an aesthetically pleasing design?----and I mean that when it comes to literally anything. The compact itself is white, with a magical, colourful, almost mirrored top.
Not only is the packaging to die for, but the cushion applicator makes the product super easy to apply. I don't know about you, but I've only ever used a BB cream----never a cushion----and believe me, the difference is mind-blowing. This is every bit as creamy as your ordinary BB cream, the difference being that the cushion and applicator make it effortless to apply, and bonus, you'll never use too much product! To apply: simply press or twist the cushion puff (depending on personal preference) onto the BB Cushion compact and apply to your skin in a patting motion. You can use one quick coat for a natural, subtle look----or build it up and do a little face paint for a night out!
The BB Cushion gives you the look and feel of a BB cream (lightweight, breathable and perfect for the on-the-go gal) with all the benefits of an everyday foundation (SPF 50, buildable coverage and long-lasting). I chose Beige No. 21 and found that it matches my skin tone perfectly. Not only does my skin tone look even and smooth, but the BB Cushion gives me the radiant, summer glow that I love. This is my definitely going to be my new go-to product! It is truly unlike any BB cream I’ve ever used!
